Follow the trail of two “clean cut” ruthless psychopath brothers who set off on an interstate crime spree of robbing banks, murders, and bombings in 1970 America.
Set in Danbury, Connecticut in 1970, what unravels is one of the most infamous crimes of the era.
On Friday, Feb. 13th, 1970, the Pardue brothers, John and James, set off a bomb at the Danbury, Connecticut Police Headquarters as a diversion while they robbed a nearby bank. The explosion was severe and resulted in nearly $200,000 worth of damage. 26 people were injured, including police officers and civilians.
After the brothers successfully robbed the bank, they set off another explosion to create even more chaos as they made their getaway. Panic and confusion was in the air that morning and left the town feeling mortified and violated.
As they made their escape, the Pardue brothers relished all the money and mayhem that they had gotten away with.
This was just one event in a long series of bank robberies, bombings, and murders that span from all the way from Missouri to Connecticut.
